Two-channel additive fusion at matched luminance with matched composition. A complementary hue pair (blue and yellow) yields a near-white superposition that resembles a single, slightly desaturated rendering. Because the two channels share luminance and composition and differ only in hue, the resulting chromatic offset reads as familiar optical dispersion rather than as two competing images.
